Diyi TV-Hualong Net (Chief Reporter Chen Yu) In early summer, the small town beside Lixiang Creek in Fuling District, located on the banks of the Yangtze River, is blanketed in lush green vegetation. The rose-red Bougainvillea spectabilis blooms, and the pink and white Gesang flowers blanket the hillsides, attracting many tourists to come and check it out.
This was once the door manufacturing base of Meixin Group. In order to build a solid ecological barrier on the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, Meixin Group voluntarily withdrew from industrial production, delved deeply into ecological restoration projects, and created the Meixin Red Wine Town scenic area. "During the construction process, we renovated the drawdown zone and planted water-tolerant plants, transforming the former wasteland into an ecological shoreline. We also built a thousand-mu grape vineyard and comprehensively implemented organic farming, ensuring that the surrounding water bodies maintain high quality all year round, and the background of green water and clear mountains becomes increasingly bright," the person in charge of the town introduced.

Strolling through the town nowadays, one is greeted by an ecological and poetic ambiance. Varying shades of green stretch from the foot of the mountain to the top, with European-style colorful cottages and fairy-tale castles nestled among the lush greenery. As the wind blows, flowers sway and branches and leaves gently dance, painting a healing picture of "the city amidst greenery, and people in a painting".
Relying on its natural landscape endowments, the town has built a three-dimensional entertainment system encompassing "water, land, and air": a 10-kilometer cableway loop that shuttles through the sky, with hanging chairs moving slowly forward, where one can look down at the emerald grape vineyard and rolling green mountains, and look far away at the clear river bay and scattered houses; there are fun activities such as bamboo raft drifting and speedboat surfing on the water; on land, there are more than 110 amusement park projects covering all age groups, allowing people to enjoy, visit, and play in the ecological beauty.

On sunny days in early summer, the small town becomes a must-visit destination for photographers. They shuttle through the streets, alleys, and bridges, and wait by the mountain streams, capturing the beautiful scenery of misty mornings, dappled afternoon light, and golden sunsets in the evening. They frankly say, "There's no need to deliberately find angles; everywhere is a frame for photography.".
The ecology is improving, and people are becoming wealthier. The town has built a 15,000 square meter ecological employment assistance workshop, adopting a "front shop, back factory" model. It gives priority to employing disabled people and other disadvantaged groups. Over 100 kinds of special tourist products have been developed, allowing surrounding villagers to share the benefits of cultural tourism development.

From an industrial wasteland to an eco-cultural tourism attraction, Meixin Red Wine Town has been continuously exploring the integration path of "ecology + cultural tourism". It is becoming a popular destination for tourists from Sichuan and Chongqing, allowing green mountains and clear waters to continuously turn into a "cornucopia" for enriching the people and increasing their income, injecting green power into rural revitalization.
